Three Club Secure members received an early Christmas present in December when they were announced as the grand prize winners of Secure Parking's Parktoberfest promotion.
Mazen Haddad (NSW), Jodie Bancroft, (NSW) and Kate Doherty (VIC) were each awarded a brand new Toyota Yaris valued at $19,000 for their participation in the competition.
In Sydney, Andrew Sapir, Corporate Marketing Manager, presented car keys to two very happy winners. Meanwhile Melbourne's General Manager, Scott Rush, greeted a delighted Kate Doherty at Flinders Gate car park to give away her new Toyota Yaris.
Mazen Haddad was thrilled with his unexpected win. After parking with Secure Parking for a night out in Sydney, Mazen never thought for a minute that he would win a new car. Whilst Jodie Bancroft claimed she had never won anything before in her life, and repeatedly played a voicemail message from Secure Parking to her workmates before believing her luck had finally come in.
"The prize giveaway was the culmination of months of work developing and running the Parktoberfest promotion. It has been a great experience to meet the winners and see the impact that Parktoberfest has had on them,” said Corporate Marketing Manager, Andrew Sapir.
The 2009 Parktoberfest promotion gave Secure Parking customers all over Australia the chance to win a share in over $120,000 worth of prizes including cars, holidays, a home entertainment system and free parking. Entrants were required to send their parking ticket number by SMS or enter online to take part in the popular draw. A world first in the parking industry, the Parktoberfest campaign surpassed all expectations and attracted more than 80,000 entries from Secure Parking customers.
Parktoberfest is an example of the innovative competitions that Club Secure members can continue to expect from Secure Parking in the future.
